Are you a weekend warrior? Need somewhere to brag about your sports team? Windows Live Spaces is a great place to show off your team or club. Upload team photos, post event information, match reports, fixtures and share information with newcomers who might want to know more about your club.

Get started

Go to http://spaces.live.com/PersonalSpaceSignup.aspx and sign up for a Space. You can use your personal information as your Windows Live id or you can set up a new email and password for your team.

Once you have set up your account you will be invited to give your space a name and to confirm the url that you want. Once you have chosen the url it can’t be changed, so choose carefully.

Customise your Space

There are some great sport themes in Spaces that you can choose from, simply go to "Customize" and click "Change the Theme" from the drop down.

If you don’t like any of our themes you can upload your own background image, this could be a simple pattern with your team colours or you could upload your club’s emblem and select "tile" for a cool effect. To do this go to "Customize" and select "Advanced", here you will see the option to upload your pic.

Add photos

Simply add the photo module, make sure you have downloaded the photo upload tool and then start uploading. You can upload up to 500 photos a month. It is really easy to create albums for your photos and you can also move the photo module around to different positions within your Space depending on what you want to showcase.

Other options

• Use the blog tool to showcase your match reports
• Use the list tool to feature upcoming events, player names or links to external sites
• Use the html tool to add custom images, flash or other unique html.
